Mumbai has been under pressure from the start of the coronavirus till now. Also, the state of Maharashtra was on the top of the list of a total number of coronavirus cases.
Maharashtra was on the top of the list during the first wave of coronavirus cases and now there is fear and chances of the second wave of coronavirus cases. That's why the Maharashtra government considering this point very seriously.
After the first wave of the coronavirus, the second wave is hitting very hard in countries all over the world. From which few of the countries have declared lockdown again. In India, the rate of coronavirus cases was decreased but after the festival of Diwali, the rate of coronavirus cases has again started increasing day by day.
In Maharashtra's few states the school has been reopened. In Mumbai, the school will not reopen next month also. This is causing real fear of the spreading of the virus. So Maharashtra government is thinking of implementing the lockdown again in Mumbai at least. They will declare it after reviewing the condition of the coronavirus for the next 10 days. So till now, there are no updates about the lockdown.
